JP Sekulich

Midwest Regional Rep

JP began his career with Vespoli in the summer of 2008. He spent the previous two years at Marietta College (Ohio) as an assist coach and recruiting coordinator. While at Marietta he earned his Masters in Education, writing his thesis on the psychological and physiological impact of single dimensional sport choice on high school athletes. JP began rowing at St Ignatius Prep in San Francisco, went on to row at Cal Berkeley, and returned to coach at St Ignatius. JP also has the unique prospective of having coached and competed in Masters swimming. He’s completed the Alcatraz to San Francisco and Golden Gate Bridge swims.

Having coached in Ohio and recruited throughout the Midwest, JP is very familiar with the rowing programs in this region. He has the experience, expertise, and enthusiasm to assist all the various types of programs within the region with all their needs. JP was recently married resides with his wife in Columbus, OH.
